1. I’m a copywriter.

I tell a carefully-crafted story that shows off how your thing works better than all the other things out there.

Good words solve problems. Those words go on websites, blog posts, emails, and promotional stuff. My job is to communicate how you pluck your customers’ thorns better than your competition. What is their pain point? How do you fix that? What your customers buy from you is the answer they were looking for. And when they click your button, that’s money in the bank.

2. I’m a website designer.

I use WordPress + Divi to create a clean, 100% customizable site.

Design is how you make the words look as good as they sound. That means cutting the copy down until it’s naked and wrapping that nakedness in empty space so your message slaps your customers in the face from the middle of a spacious room. They know at a glance why you’re valuable to them. They also like that your site doesn’t look like crap. 

Design is the thing that keeps people on your page. So keep it simple with colours and fonts. Guide users with single actions. Put the message in the middle of a modern room. Purge.

3. I’m a lead generator

I make stuff your customers want. They get a valuable takeaway, and you get their email address.

Content is all the good stuff on your website. But it’s also the stuff you give away to build your list and feed your marketing machine. Lead magnets are things like downloadable checklists, worksheets, ebooks, quizzes and surveys. That kind of content adds credibility to your brand and puts you up there as an authority in your space. Your fans get to know you with content and feel good about trusting you after that. You’re welcome.

Conversion tactics are marketing tools that generate leads from free downloadables and convince customers to ultimately buy your awesome something.

4. I’m an optimizer (SEO)

I tell Google to give your awesome something some special attention. 

SEO is how you flag cars off the road to stop at your shop. Your squeaky clean design, blunt copy, and fresh squeezed content are the things that make the sale but, without SEO, your shop is a beautiful missed thing on a side road off the main route.

SEO is the analytical stuff. It’s the neon sign on the highway that snags attention and directs customers to your page. Muck up optimization and everything else is for nothing.
