Hello! I’m Andi

I have a complementary stack of skills:

I sort out the playing field, optimize the playbook, and show your team how to win games (operations). Then I get to work on your pompoms (marketing).

But here are some other things you might find interesting:

I’m systematic:

I’m a problem solver. I score a 93% on the EOS Integrator scale. That means my brain is hard-wired to take ideas from company visionaries and turn them into wins. In other words, I make the right sh*t happen. Somebody give me a figurative clipboard and show me where the coffee station is!

I’m a Swiss Army Knife:

I spent 20+ years in marketing, interacting with Sales and Customer Success teams. Now I’m in operations. I have a giant toolkit of skills to apply to any problem. I will dive into and figure it out.

I’m creative:

Don’t let the big glasses fool you: I might be ruthlessly organized, but I’m deadly with words and have an eye for design that’s centred in the laws of UX. I went to university for media and college for design; that means I intentionally focussed on the “know thy self” stuff when I was younger and stupider. Since then, I’ve gained street cred and confidence.

I’m handy:

I mean, I wouldn’t hang my shingle out as a handyman, but if you ask me if I’d rather wire in a dimmer switch or make dinner, I’m choosing electrocution 9 times out of 10.
DIY feels right.

I’m strong

I mean, don’t put me up against a powerlifter, but ask me to wrangle a water-soaked dock out of the lake, and I’m your gal. I played rugby for 10 years in 3 countries when I travelled the world before kids (BK), ran a half marathon in my 20s before my IT bands said no, and made friends with pre-sunrise tire drags to get back in shape after child #3.
Favourite exercise: squats.
Favourite mantra: Don’t half ass it.

I’m adventurous

I mean, I haven’t jumped out of a plane or swam with sharks (yet), but I bungie jumped off a bridge in New Zealand (when that was new) and went to uni in the most remote corner of Australia—limping a 1984 Nissan Vanette across the Nullarbor to get there. I manoeuvred the flooded muck of Malaysia, battled sun poisoning in the back of a pickup truck crossing bombed bridge girders en route to Cambodia, survived a bus crash in Vietnam, and used charades as a language to work the rails between Osaka to Fukuoka, Japan. I’ve also road tripped all over the USA, Costa Rica, The Bahamas, and the Mexican Yucatán.
Favourite way to watch the sunrise: through the dashboard of a truck.

I’m a Nature Girl

I love sleeping in my aerial tent under the stars in the woods of the Great White North. I walk the back ninety with my Springer, Mosley, every day because evergreens, scrub brush, and birds renew my soul. I also talk to my plants (when they aren’t sleeping under the snow) in my half-acre garden.

Healthy Operations

Your company will be more productive and profitable if the chaos is centralized (tasks & communications are in one spot) and everyone sees everything (no silos or barriers). Building a team that rows in the same direction requires the right tool, training, and ownership. I install a system that streamlines how you operate so that your team feels less stress and more accomplishment. When you invest in the happiness of your employees, you empower them to own their profitability levers with confidence.

TOOL

Clickup

(playing field)

  • project management
  • client health

TRAINING

Trainual

(playbook)

  • share your expertise on a platform
  • onboard new employees efficiently

OWNERSHIP

OKRs

(players + game + game film)

  • pin your goals (Objectives: annual, quarterly, monthly huddles, team 1-1s)
  • plan how you’ll reach those goals (Key Results: tasks)
  • be accountable (install 3 habitual meetings to scrum on the roadblocks and celebrate the wins)

Effective Marketing

Across all marketing channels (SEO, CRO, email, social, and PPC), writing is the most important tool in your kit. Copywriting combines art and psychology to encourage your customers to do something (a conversion action). But that message is lost if it’s ugly, so you have to design what you’re saying to look good. And all of this effort is for nothing if nobody sees your clear writing and clean design: invest in search engine optimization so Google gives you a nice billboard under the search bar.

WRITING

Tell the right story

  • put the right words on your website
  • chop that copy
  • create lead magnets (free takeaways like checklists and roundups) to grow your email list
  • use email to give more value to your customers and promote products
  • use social networks to build trust, educate, and share

DESIGN

Make a great cover

  • make the words look as good as they sound
  • wrap your message in empty space so brains absorb it
  • simplify your branding with minimal colours and fonts
  • purge

SEO/CRO

Stand out on the shelf

  • snag Google’s attention
  • make your link appealing so prospects check out your shop
  • Make sure your shop is optimized (formatted properly) so it loads fast
  • Use conversion tactics so you make the sale
  • monitor the analytics

Say hello!

“Stepping in shit is inevitable, so let’s either see it as good luck, or figure out how to do it less often.”

“Which choice you make is not as important as making a choice and committing to it.”
